The Liberty 94 is a fantastic smoker! Received mine on Wednesday and got it seasoned with boiled linseed oil. First cook was 4 racks of baby back ribs and they turned out great! Anyone on the fence about it just buy it, worth every penny! Frank and his team along with the smokeslinger team can answer any questions you have, Frank has some really good videos too!

The Liberty94 is phenomenal, it holds temps very easily. I have created the best bbq of my life on it, you can do your meat and sides all in one place. I like that the fire box is a good size for longer logs to keep a bigger fire going. The temperature is very balanced across the whole grate. It’s the perfect size for small or large quantity of food you want to smoke. I can’t help myself from taking awesome pictures and videos of each of my cooks to share the experience. You will want to cook more often when you realize the quality of bbq you can create.

I received my “94” a couple of weeks ago. Seasoned it and did my first Brisket a few days later. That cook was really just to play with the smoker, get the feel of it. I ran MEATER probes in chunks of beef and positioned them around the grill. I also played with the tuner plate through the cook. Pretty much confirmed what Frank had told me about how the pit ran. Heat distribution is really even and consistent. If however you want to change or split how and where heat goes, the tuner plate can be configured to your needs. The pit is easy to run and very stable once you get it heated up. Bonus! The service is outstanding. I sent Frank an email on a Sunday not realizing at the time that it was a weekend.(yes I am retired) Frank texted me from his Church and then followed up with a call after Church. That is service! Just finished up my second cook. Brisket is resting….. money well spent…..

I probably do 80% of my cooks on the full-size slinger! The design and the build quality are excellent allowing for any kind of cook I want to do. Offset, indirect, 2 zone and direct high heat grilling. The 6 damper system and the tuning plates lets me set up for just about any type of cook all while maintaining a rock steady temp. After dialing it in with the dampers, I can hold temp for hours without constantly adjusting air flow or adding fuel. The dual fire box sets up for maximum versatility.

Could not be happier with my purchase of the Smokeslinger full size direct heat pit. The build quality is top notch, turn around from day of purchase to day of delivery was quick, and the customer service is very good. Cooking on the pit is a breeze, whether doing low and slow bbq or a quick weeknight dinner, this thing can do it all. I did opt for the two piece plancha and I love them. Very heavy duty, very fun to cook on. This thing will out last me!

I found the mini smokeslinger on Facebook marketplace as an ad. Started doing my research and found their Facebook page and group. After a couple of weeks I made my order. The customer service is amazing. Received my mini and that is where the fun began. I’ve made amazing brisket, pulled pork, ribs, burgers, picanha… you name it I have done it. I knew I wanted a traditional offset smoker and after meeting the Smokeslinger team at a local BBQ Competition, I decided to purchase/order the Liberty 94. After hearing the reasoning behind their baffle, firebox and exhaust, I knew this was the pit I wanted. I’ve been smoking meats for 15 years, I’ve used every kind of smoker available, The Liberty 94 is my new favorite. Get one!!!!

I got in at the beginning of this masterpiece. I have had 2 Old country smokers in the past because I’m cheap and I thought they would work fine , well I was wrong . I stumbled across smokerbuilder website where I discovered a Mr. Frank Cox “The BBQ Pit Engineer “ and that is what he is , he is a genius when it comes to building smokers. This pit is built with quality, superior craftsmanship and ordering and delivery was easy , hard part was getting it off the pallet. Once seasoned with boiled linseed oil I was ready to cook . By the second cook I was dialed in on my temps. And when I say dialed in , I’m 1 - 10 degrees off from one end to the other. Everything thing Frank says in his videos about this beast is true . I’m so happy I pulled the trigger and spent the extra money and bought this . This will last me a lifetime and will be passed down to my son. As I’m writing this I have 2 pork butts , beef ribs and a chuck roast on this pit. It will hold some meat and with even temps I don’t have to rotate meat around. Don’t waste your money on some other popular pit , you found the right pit , Liberty 94 is the new KING of pits.
